Larry Miwa's diary shows the horror of the nuclear explosion in Hiroshima and won't leave anyone untouched. It is a strong reminder that these weapons have no place in our world and need to be completely eliminated. This diary is an important call to action, an appeal to everyone to rise and do everything possible to ensure that there is no other Hiroshima. (Beatrice Fihn, Executive Director of International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons)

The Larry Miwa Peace Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization that encourages humankind to pursue hope, reconciliation, and peace. Their mission is to remind cities everywhere that they must do everything in their power to avoid becoming the "next Hiroshima"

In June 2024, Hiroshima City Mayor Kazumi Matsui and his Hiroshima Peace Cultural Foundation arranged to accept the very fist 500 complimentary copies of "Ganbare Hiroshima-Don't Give Up." Through Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, Hiroshima National Peace Memorial  Hall for Atomic Bomb Victims, and Mayors for Peace, the books will be distributed to the people of Hiroshima City and visitors from around the world.
